
Simple Eggnog for 4

Servings 4 people
Ingredients
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk (full cream)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup rum, bourbon or brandy (or essence if non-alcohol is required)
- Garnish with Nutmeg
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks with 3 Tblsp of the sugar until fluffy
- Stir in the Milk, Cream and your choice of spirit/ *essence (if using)
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggwhites with the remaining Tblsp of sugar until soft peaks form, fold into the egg yolk mixture.
- Chill
- Serve in glass with grated fresh nutmeg as a garnish.
